English names are Field mint, Wild mint, Spicy Mint.
Field mint is simple, slightly toothed leaves, but slightly smoother than Spearmint. Its taste is stronger, more bright mint taste than spearmint. Having a quite strong minty flavor with a slight bitterness, it is used as a flavoring in salads or cooked foods. Think “mint ice cream” flavor. The leaves of field mint are edible, raw or cooked. It’s found on most common herb & salad plates. It’s also used widely with spring rolls, salads, and almost anything family tradition dictates.
